Hello! My name is Emma and I have been asked by “The Boss” to take charge of “The Blog”.
You will have to be patient and kind, as I am definitely not a blogger or writer, I am the number cruncher here at Sliding Robes Direct. Finance people are “in a nutshell” type people so it will be awkward for me to write an article of any great length. Let’s give this a go… I’m not techy in any shape or form so I have decided to talk to you about my new wardrobe doors.
It was difficult, with soooo much choice, to decide on which style of door and colour I preferred. The wardrobe was for my bedroom and I eventually decided on Shaker Doors in Oak. I always feel it is best to search “all the usual sites” for ideas and then come to a specialist wardrobe website (preferably us!) with a good idea of what you like. Shaker is also available in other colours!
I had the space to go for hinged doors but why have hinged when I could have doors which would glide out of my way, with a gentle push. I also had the width for 4 doors, I went with two on the front track and two on the back track, it gives me a vast amount of interior opening space (you will notice from my pics, that I have not included a photo of my interior – I need to do a tidy up first!).
So when you are ready, scroll down for the end result…. I now realise I should have straightened up my duvet cover, but just try to ignore that. Hopefully “The Boss” won’t notice!! He would not be pleased if I didn’t mention that I had soft closures and end panels added, which we also supply (a little sales pitch, he’ll be happy with that).
